Why Cool People, Animals and Insects Love
The Magic Land
Lew and Utah Blink
"The sacred land spoke to me and my son as we camped under a full moon at The Magic Land. Laura Lynne, the Spiritual Director, was a joy to meet, as well as the host of animals. We loved our bonding time on the land, feeling refreshed and renewed. I intend to keep The Magic Land as a family location to cherish into the future."                                                 Lew Blink
I love being free on 70 acres, though being close to the people and food is my favorite part. I am happy here.  Rowena

It is so wonderful to see what you are creating. So much of the "magic" is what YOU bring with your gifts and talents and deep connection to spirit. You respect and honor life in the purest sense. I really feel what you have to offer is so important and at the core of who we are and what we have let go of. In this world of technological advancement it is easy to lose our connection with the earth and get disctracted with everyday life.
The Magic Land offers an opportunity to reconnect on a deeper level and enter the world of wonder! I experience The Magic Land as a part of The Great Remembering.... While there, I remember who I am, and connect with the deep core of my wildly divine nature. I enter into a sacred celebration of life magnificently expressing in all of its splendor. All of nature calls to me, inviting me to participate in the magic of being. I am wrapped in the heart of mother earth and feel the beating of her heart infusing my soul.

On the Magic Land... I am home...held in the heart of the Earth Mother and held in the heart of the Tree House Wise Woman... I love what you are creating.                   Pooki Lee

Ahhhh .... The Magic Land......sigh. We had the good fortune to not only spend a couple of days there but make some small contributions to it’s development. This is a special place where all creatures exist just as they please and we’re created to do.

Stars, mist, warmth, trees, water, all creatures great and small are some of what you’ll experience here. Magical!!!

P.S. If you are in need of someone who is a scholar of listening, look no more, Laura Lynne will be there for you, and she also makes a delicious Belgian waffle.

I am the sacred spring water that trickles between the sheets of ice in the winter, and hides underground when the sun is scorching, and  that roars in the spring to roll the rocks.

Going to the Magic Land was so inspiring for my grandsons, ages 12, 7 and 5. The minute we got there, they were introduced to animals (they are city boys), and didn't know what to do, or how to act!

But, with Laura Lynne's sweet and kind nature, they became much more calm and realized that this was a place of peace, and interesting experiences, of flowing water, and space to just be themselves.

They keep asking, when are we going back to The Magic Land?

I raised Baby Squirrel on The Magic Land and now every squirrel I see is Baby Squirrel's baby squirrel.
Only an hour from St.Louis, MO.. and you have found a peaceful retreat, sure to refresh you mentally and physically.

My first experience on the Magic Land was around 2012, when I was looking for a plot of secluded land where I could teach wilderness survival skills, including hunting and trapping small game. I have lived in rural Missouri most of my life -hunting, fishing and exploring the wilder places, and after spending one afternoon walking alone around the land I knew this place was different somehow.

There is feeling there that I can only describe as sanctuary, a place of peaceful coexistence with nature, an honoring of all life, from the smallest flower to the free ranging chickens that lay eggs at their convenience and have the opportunity to grow old gracefully.

This is a place where love, healing and personal growth are nurtured. I am forever grateful to Laura Lynne, for following her heart and taking on the enormous responsibility of governing this sacred place, and for fostering an environment where others can learn, heal and grow as I have.     Mark Antum
I tip my umbrella so the dew drops create a drinking cup for the tiny insects who live on and in the log where I make my home on The Magic Land.   Shwella

Full of LIFE, full of LAUGHTER, full of LOVE! Beautiful Missouri hills close to St. Louis, but far enough that it feels like vacation...The Magic Land. Just go!

When I was little, my Mom would call my name and I would come running with my brothers and sisters. We are free to eat whatever we find here it's super neat! Love, Pinkerton
Each time I have been to The Magic Land it has been a different season. Each time, it has been beautiful, welcoming and full of surprises. One of my most favorite aspects of staying in the treehouse is that you are literally sleeping in a

tree, but, with all of the creature comforts, including a dreamy fireplace with a chair swing hanging right in front of it. It is hard to get me to come out of there once I tuck in. It is perfect for meditation or conversation or even a nap.

There is a hammock for swinging in the loft above the beds. The treehouse is the perfect perch for spirits like me. I have had several amazing retreat experiences on the land.  Laura Lynne is a gifted facilitator and coach, and always has the magical ability to appear at just the moment you need her, and to disappear when you are needing solitude.

The animals also have an amazing way of teaching you about yourself as you relate to them, and your totems can be revealed to you, even in just one day.

It is just one hour's drive from St. Louis, but it seems that you are remote and disengaged from the linear world while you are there. The stars are extraordinarily visible, and there are beautiful places to walk, have a fire, climb a tree, and even pitch a tent. All of the buildings have a touch of Laura Lynne's aesthetic and personality, which means that they are beautiful, elegant, and unconventional. Each time I go, it gives me a sense of coming home to myself.  Just typing this has me anxious to plan my next visit!   All my love!                                 Dianna Lucas

I am owl, I call to you from the forest to reach into your heart so you remember your splendor.
I’ve experienced the adventures of The Magic Land and it’s truly an exquisite timeless space to connect with yourself and all life.

Precious and cathartic time to put the world on pause and feel into presence. Delicious self-care awaits those who venture to the land of magic!

I want to tell you what I think I see. I see you in Kansas City, the daughter of a famous man. Expectations and your mother is strong and your upbringing was unique. Your sister took after her, but you were wild. They molded you and yet you burst out. You got married, suburban life, for awhile. In your 30's when you had your son like me, it facilited your journey to discover yourself.

The Path was called and it's been rough, rocky with doubt and fear as us all. Then the land called to you and you heard it. You became the mother of the land and it needed to mature, grow and regain it's energy. You also tame it slowly. It has needs as you do. It calls others too.

The Magic Land lives to it's name. It is a sort of fantasy island where dreams are confronted. In the silence, the trees, with no distraction, one is forced to see yourself, other people and see what is dream and what is real.

As the Mother, you speak for the land and know intuitively what is best. This is hard because tribe is called and some only know patriarchy. Will, power battles that mean nothing but their own internal struggles, but hopefully with heart and time, if the land calls for someone to do something, hopefully, they listen.

It told me it wanted children to dance on it. I saw children by the creek, up and down that little valley. I see a way to heal children on The Magic Land. To remind them they are of Her too. I honor your work and always offer a hand when I can.

The Spirit calls me to tell stories and that is what I aim to do. The Spirit called you Mother of The Magic Land and that is powerful. You get to be fully you, now and that is a gift. It energizes you and makes you whole together.

You and the Land are becoming one. You both must heal to heal other, then let the Spirit and the Land do what it does best. You have a wonderful role in this Passion Play. That is what I see.
I love you Laura and what you do.                      Lew Blink
